“When we bought our Georgian Townhouse two years ago we were faced with the exciting but rather daunting task of restoring an old and neglected house back to its former glory. As we spend much of the year abroad, we had the added worry of organising the work from a distance and then we also had to contend with my occasional tendency for taste failure…. It was then that we arranged to meet Karen of Beltaine Designs, who designed and then project managed the restoration of our home. In the design phase, Karen produced stunning designs which really captured the essence of what we were trying to achieve in the house. Furthermore, Karen’s attention to detail and professional knowledge ensured that we avoided time-consuming and costly mistakes. In the project management phase, she called on her excellent team of friendly, skilled and professional tradesman all of whom did a fantastic job and were a pleasure to have in the house. The curtains and soft furnishings designed and made by Beltaine Designs are breathtaking. Working with Karen and her team at Beltaine Designs has been an absolute pleasure and we are delighted with the results.” (Mr & Mrs Webb) “I contacted Karen for help when we wanted to add some visual glamour to our large Reception area. We had spent weeks agonising over what to do and she produced a stunning suggestion for us. Karen managed the whole process for us and provided calm advice and support throughout. I would recommend her to anyone looking for helpful, friendly and insightful advice, however woolly the brief she receives!” “When we finished the structural work to our 1930′s house, we realised that we could not achieve the internal design look that we wanted on our own. For over a year we wondered what to do: we couldn’t find an approach that would fit our desire for some very individual but modern and sympathetic decor. We saw Karen’s work for Beltaine and thought she might be the right person for us. If you would like information on any of our services or have questions do not hesitate to contact us.
